The facilitation team is composed of representatives from Environmental Protection Agency, Forest Development Authority and Skills and Agriculture Development Services (SADS).
Standards Committee
In Agusut 2012, the facilitation team identified organizations involved in REDD+ and invited them to submit a nomination to participate in the Standards Committee.

In 2012, the Standards Committee held three meetings and defined its Terms of Reference.
Capacity building
The first national workshop on safeguards was held in July 2012 and provided the opportunity to explain the ten step REDD+ SES process to a broad range of stakeholders as well as the best practices to set up the Standards Committee at country level. The workshop report is available here.
